11 AirV Electric Bikes in Pakistan Launched by Airlink

Pakistan’s electric vehicle market has welcomed a new player as Air Link Communication Limited officially launches AirV, its electric motorcycle brand. The company introduced 11 models across six series on November 5, 2026, offering consumers more choices as interest in electric mobility continues to grow.

Known for its presence in Pakistan’s technology manufacturing sector, Airlink is now expanding into transportation. The launch comes as rising petrol costs encourage commuters to explore alternatives to conventional motorcycles.

AirV’s new lineup includes several technology-focused features, with selected models offering a claimed riding range of up to 200 kilometres.

What Does AirV Offer Pakistani Riders?

AirV has introduced 11 electric motorcycle models designed for different riding needs and customer preferences.

According to the company, the lineup includes features such as cruise control, regenerative battery technology, NFC functionality and anti-theft systems.

Lithium battery options are also available, while the maximum advertised range reaches 200 kilometres on certain models.

However, actual riding range can vary depending on battery capacity, road conditions, speed and rider weight.

The company has not yet provided complete public pricing and technical specifications for every model.

Airlink Plans Local EV Manufacturing in Lahore

Airlink plans to manufacture its electric motorcycles at its facility in the Sundar Green Special Economic Zone in Lahore.

Group CEO Muzaffar Hayat Paracha said production capacity would become operational in phases.

The company aims to localise approximately 95% of production within the next two to three years.

If achieved, this could reduce reliance on imported components and create opportunities for Pakistan’s local manufacturing industry.

However, meeting that target will depend on production capacity, supplier development and sustained investment.

AirV Electric Bikes Could Offer Installment Payments

Affordability remains one of the biggest challenges facing Pakistan’s electric motorcycle market.

Although electric bikes can reduce daily fuel expenses, their upfront prices may discourage potential buyers.

To address this, Airlink plans to introduce buy-now-pay-later financing through its Airfin service.

The proposed financing option could make electric motorcycles more accessible to consumers who cannot afford the full purchase price immediately.

However, the company has not yet announced complete installment terms.

Can AirV Compete in Pakistan’s Growing EV Market?

Pakistan’s electric motorcycle market is attracting increasing attention as consumers look for ways to manage transport expenses.

Electric bikes offer the potential for lower running costs and reduced dependence on petrol. However, charging access, battery replacement costs and reliable after-sales service remain important considerations.

Airlink’s entry introduces another competitor into the sector, while its local manufacturing ambitions could support the development of Pakistan’s EV industry.

With 11 models, new technology features and plans for local production, AirV has made an ambitious entrance. Its long-term success will depend on affordability, reliability and how well its motorcycles perform on Pakistani roads.
